“Healing isn’t about fixing what’s broken—it’s about uncovering the innate strength and resilience already within you.”

Background & Perspective
Before joining Common Thread Counseling, I spent two decades in outpatient behavioral health addressing complex trauma, housing instability, and child welfare systems. I helped pioneer and direct Alaska’s first Transition to Independence Program for youth and currently teach Trauma in Childhood at the University of Alaska Anchorage.
Outside the office, I share life in Anchorage with my husband and twin teenagers. You’ll usually find me trail running, rock climbing, at book club, or cooking a meal for friends.
